Sunil Moonsammy

Managing Principal

Sunil Moonsammy is a Chartered Accountant and practising member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and holds an Auditing Certificate issued by ICATT. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds professional certifications in financial modelling and valuation, including a Certificate in Advanced Valuation from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University.

He has over thirteen years of professional experience in audit, assurance, valuation, and advisory engagements, including complex company and investment valuations, restructuring assessments, forensic reviews, and financial analysis for transactional, contentious, and regulatory purposes. His valuation work spans private companies, shareholder and estate matters, insolvency scenarios, and internal and external decision-making contexts, applying income, market, and asset-based valuation methodologies.

Mr. Moonsammy has acted in insolvency and liquidation engagements, including court-appointed assignments, with responsibilities encompassing statutory compliance and reporting, asset realisation, creditor communications, and financial investigations in accordance with applicable legislation and court directions. He has also held senior management and directorship roles within Trinidad and Tobago–based companies.
